Soldering is a process in which two or more items (usually metal) are joined together by melting and putting a filler metal (solder) into the joint.  Carbide Adhesive Free Fusion does not require adhesive agent (solder) and is developed to produce strong bonding between two new or used carbide rods. Finishing can still be able to maintain its straightness and carbide strength.
